Kim Carson - lead vocals/songwriting/guitar/harmonica
Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and raised in Canyon, Texas (near
Amarillo).
Kim began playing piano at age 7 and took up the Oboe at age 12.
She realized that Buck Owens never once used an Oboe in any of his
songs and switched to guitar about 10 years ago.
Kim returns to Texas from New Orleans, Louisiana where she's been
named Best Country Artist for 2004 by Offbeat Magazine's
readers. This marks Kim's 8th win in the category!
Her Live At Tipitina's CD also won Best Country
Album for 2004. |
Visually and sonically, the boys are styled
kind of Retro, Rock-a-Billy & Honky Tonk, giving Kims
songs a high energy "Tonkabilly" sound.
Kims vocal harmonies give Adams tough as nails voice
a bit of a Buck Owens flavor.
All four members are huge fans of Dale Watson, Merle Haggard, Buck
Owens, Ray Price and Hank Williams. |
